21 Elephants and Still Standing
The book, 21 Elephants and Still Standing, is based on the true story of what happened after the Brooklyn Bridge was completed.  Not ever having seen a suspension bridge before, the people of New York were scared to use the modern marvel.  That is, until P. T. Barnum showed onlookers how strong the bridge was by taking 21 elephants across it.
For this challenge, students worked as Architectural Engineers to construct a "bridge" that could hold 21 elephants.
